Solar Thermal
What is Solar Thermal?
A solar thermal system harnesses the sun’s energy using solar panels to heat water rather than generate electricity like solar PV (Solar Photovoltaics).
Installing a solar water heating system reduces costs, is exceptionally energy efficient. Evacuated solar thermal tubes collect huge amounts of solar energy throughout the day and could provide up to 60% of your yearly hot water requirements. This powerful, market-leading solar thermal system can be relied upon to provide hot water needs throughout the summer and can even be used to effectively and sustainably heat swimming pools.
How does It work?
Evacuated solar tubes consist of a set of parallel cylindrical tubes used in conjunction with your building’s existing boiler, collector or immersion heater to heat and store the heated water in a cylinder.
Alternatively, we can use the flat plate technology, a neater looking system which may suit your house.
