Boiler Upgrade Scheme

What is the Boiler Upgrade Scheme?

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is a Government incentive designed to support the decarbonising of heating in buildings.

The UK government is providing grants of £5,000 to encourage property owners to install low carbon heating systems such as heat pumps and biomass boilers through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS). These grants will be used for property owners to overcome the upfront cost of low carbon heating technologies.

The scheme is now open to domestic and small non-domestic properties in Wales and England from 2022 to 2025.

How we can help?

Birds’ Hill are your local experienced, experts in the installation of low carbon heating systems. We are Micro Certification Scheme (MCS) certified to supply and install renewable heating and cooking systems under the BUS predecessor schemes, Domestic RHI and Non-Domestic RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive) schemes. We subscribe to the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC), Trustmark and NAPIT.

The first step for you is to fill out our application form to assess your eligibility for the grant.
